Curated and produced a landmark Beach Sessions program pairing an adaptation of Merce Cunningham’s Beach Birds with a commissioned choreographic response by Sarah Michelson. Worked closely with both the Merce Cunningham Trust and Michelson to support the development, rehearsal, and site-specific staging of the works on Rockaway Beach. Oversaw all aspects of production—including artist coordination, fundraising, marketing efforts, technical logistics, and community engagement—while ensuring the integrity of Cunningham’s legacy and supporting the creation of new work in dialogue with it.
